Beaver Carpets was founded in 1980 in Tunnel Hill, Georgia by Dennis Garrison.

Tunnel Hill is a "suburb" of Dalton, GA. While it is better known to local residents as the site of the conclusion of Great Civil War Locomotive Chase (the General) and the starting point for General Sherman's "March to the Sea", the World recognizes Dalton, GA as the Flooring Capital of the World.  Dalton has more carpet wholesalers selling more discount carpet per square mile than anywhere else on earth.  Dalton produces about 80% of the worlds supply of carpet and about 60% of the supply of laminate flooring. For hardwood flooring - our name says it all.  Beaver carpets "cut our teeth" on hardwood flooring.  Beaver Carpets has been a hardwood flooring wholesaler for more than 25 years.  During our early business years, when hardwood flooring was less popular, we became accustomed to questions by local carpet wholesaler competitors as to why we stocked so much hardwood flooring. We are now a leading distributor of Hardwood Flooring and others are only now learning the business. Mohawk hardwood flooring is one of our primary product lines.

Wholesale laminate flooring is a fairly new flooring option, but carpet manufacturers quickly recognized its importance.  Once laminate flooring was developed, many carpet manufacturers quickly transformed idle carpet manufacturing facilities over to laminate flooring production.  Much of the laminate flooring production is based within 20 miles of our facility. As a result, Beaver Carpets gets some of the most competitive laminate flooring pricing that you will find anywhere.

For all flooring products, we work on volume.  We sell carpet retailers, home builders, property management professionals the hospitality trade, and consumers and there is rarely a price difference.  In buying flooring from Beaver Carpets, remember, as a flooring wholesaler, the State of Georgia allows a sales tax exemption for flooring shipments out of the State of Georgia, so YOU PAY NO SALES TAX
